Why was this book made?
This book was created as part of my PhD research into game creation for archaeology and was used as the guiding documentation at the VALUE run Interactive Pasts conference in the workshop: Introduction to Twine. Details of both of these can be found in the later sections of the book - in the future I hope to produce further living books about various different game-engines / creative practices / techniques so that all archaeologists can dig in and get their hands dirty making cool, creative games as part of their research processes, so if you have suggestions or ideas for what kind of books you would most like to see then send me a message!
